What can I expect as a visitor?
We want to make sure you feel welcome and simply enjoy yourself worshipping the Lord with us! Our ushers and greeters will welcome you at the main entrance, answer any questions you may have, and escort you into the sanctuary. We welcome our visitors by asking you to please stand (if you feel comfortable), state your name, where you are from, and how you heard about Fountain of Hope. You will then receive the warmest and friendliest official welcome by our pastor and our congregation. Our ushers will give you a visitor’s card during this time and we do ask that you fill out the card and put it in the offering basket as it passes.
When are your worship services?
Services are held every Sunday starting with Church School at 9:00 AM and Morning Worship at 10:30 AM.
We have two Bible Studies: Women at the Fountain on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm, led by Rev. Shermella Garrett and Noontime Bible Study at 12 noon every Wednesday led by Elder Wendell Mann.
We also have a Mid-week service every Wednesday at 6:00 pm led by Pastor Gregory McLeod.
Is the church handicap accessible?
Yes. Both inside and out, including handicapped parking stalls in front of the entrance doors.
Do I need to attend a new members’ class?
Yes, the class is held every second, third and fourth Sunday of the month at 9:00 a.m. You must complete all classes to become a full member of the church. However, if you are transferring from another AME church, you are NOT required to take the New Members’ class.
